MARATHON BIKE TOUR
Full 26.2 Mile Breathtaking Course
- Ride the most breathtaking Marathon Bike Tour in Southern California.
- Safe, scenic and fully closed course
- The full 26.2 miles on the same course as the runners

T-Shirt, Finishers Medal and Goodie Bag
- All Bike Tour participants who register will receive a participant t-shirt and goodie-bag.
- All Bike Tour finishers will receive a beautiful commemorative finisher's medal...a new design each year! This medal will only be available to bike riders who have a tear off tab from their event bib to present to the volunteers. No bib tag = no medal!!!!! There will be a tab on the bib also for the bike corral to store your bike.
- All participants (both pre- and late-registration) must attend the Marathon Expo to pick-up their participant t-shirt and goodie-bag.

- Participants get FREE admission to the Aquarium of the Pacific.
- Participants also get many other discounts and special offers at local restaurants and shops
Carbo-Load Dinner
The 2008 Carbo load will be at the Queen Mary in the Britannia Salon. Further information is on the Events page.
Bike Safety
- The use of safety helmets is mandatory - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Only one person per bike, unless the bike is specifically designed as a tandem (both riders must be registered)
- The use of headphones is prohibited.
- PLEASE NOTE: Due to safety concerns, 3-wheeled Trikke-type Scooters will NOT be allowed on the bike course.
Starting Time
- The Marathon Bike Tour starting time will be 6:00 AM.
Personal Item Storage
- Personal item storage is available on the north side of Shoreline Drive and Linden between the Start and Finish lines. We do not recommend that you store any valuables.
Bike Corral / Storage
- We provide a Bike Coral to store your bike during your attendance at the Beach Party Finish Line Festival.
- Please bring bike locks to secure your bike
- You may not take your bike into the Festival with you

Over 200 professionals from Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Miller Children�s Hospital will be staffing Eight Medical Aid Stations along the Course.

Group Discounts
- Groups of 20 or more qualify for a $5.00 per person discount if they send in their registration forms in one package and pay the total amount in one check.
- Please have each participant complete their own registration form, and if under 18 have their parent / guardian sign the form. Once all forms are complete, please send us the completed applications with a check for the total number signing up less the $5.00 per person discount. - Please Note that after August 31st group discounts will NOT be accepted.

- There is no race day packet pickup!
- Entry Fees Are Nonrefundable. The race will be held rain or shine. Absolutely no transfers of race numbers will be allowed. No refunds can be given.
